These fighting knifes were issued to Australian, New Zealand and US troops that were stationed in the Pacific during WW2. This example is a cut down down version of the knuckle knife (common practice during WW2) and has the maker stamp of NZ Cutlers Co Auckland on the blade. Australian issue as the scabbard which is original to the knife has the stamp of Greg steel Australia. Rare piece.
