This original WW1 German Lobstertail Helmet has possibly had a period repaint, skull has a couple of dents as shown in images. Chinstrap, Cockades and Liner present, the liner has a couple of tongue holes pulled through. Maker name of Helbing Sackewitz and dated 1916 stamped to crown of interior.
Original examples of these helmets are getting harder to find with prices in the US and UK well into the $2500 plus, this one is good value at $1950
