WW1 FRENCH HORIZON BLUE ADRIAN HELMET-SOLD

  • WW1 FRENCH HORIZON BLUE ADRIAN HELMET-SOLD H406

Whilst the German Army in WW1 had the Pickelhaube and later the steel trench helmet and the US, Australian and British troops had the Tommy helmet, the French had the Horizon Blue French Adrian helmet which was also used by the Belgium troops as well.

This helmet is the standard WW1 French helmet which has most of its original Horizon Blue colour which is rare due to the age and combat use of most of these helmets. The leather chin strap is still present and in good condition as is the original liner. WW1 French helmets are getting scarcer as the years go on as is the WW1 German and British Tommy helmets and prices as usual are moving upwards.
