    WW1 AUSTRALIAN PAIR OF MEDALS TO 16 BN WOUNDED IN ACTION (WIA).

    Both medals correctly impressed and named to 7306 Pte J. Burnham 16 Bn AIF. Pte James Burnham enlisted in the Army on the 24 October 1916 and sent to join 16 Bn in France. He was wounded in action on the 21 October 1917. He was discharged in the UK in February 1919 and taken on strength as Non Military Employment at the AIF Headquarters. Medals come with his Returned from Active Service and RSL badges., also comes with a copy of his service records.
