M1971 COLD WAR WEST GERMAN BUNDESWEHR PARATROOPERS HELMET
These Cold War West German paratroopers helmets share commonality with the WW2 and US helmets of WW2.
The helmet shape is that of a typical WW2 US helmet with the Paratroopers chin strap very similar to the German paratroopers helmet of WW2 as is the spanner bolts used to hold the chinstrap in place. Even the leather liner is very similar to the German WW2 helmets. There are the usual scrapes to the shell due to wear but this helmet presents well.
