LARGE BOWIE KNIFE BY EMIL VOOS GERMANY. This knife has a story to tell. Measuring 390mm in total with a blade length of 255mm this is a very large Bowie Knife. Made and stamped to Ricasso "EMIL VOOS SOLINGEN" with a stag horn handle. On the spine of the handle is engraved " presented to R (Dick) Whitcombe Manager Rabaul RSL from staff 1951. Slight rust mark on blade as shown in images that can be polished out. The knife needs a good polish.
