Brief History
The 15th Ulanen Regiment was a Cavalry regiment which was formed in 1867, It had fought in the Franco Prussian war of July 1870 - May 1871 and in the First World War 1914-1918.

Matching pair of Officers Epaulettes with Silver moons on yellow background (Cavalry) and brass number 15. The button is also of silver with the no 2. There is mothing to the yellow cloth as shown in the images that does not detract but verifies the age.
