  • WW2 GERMAN KRIEGSMARINE AWARD BADGE AND DOCUMENT GROUP FOR THE RAIDER KOMET GB102

    This is an important WW2 German Kriegsmarine award badges and documents grouping to an officer aboard the German Raider KOMET. The grouping consists of the following:

    Award document to Oberleutnant Hans Breddemeyer for the Spange to the Iron Cross Second Class Issued at Keil and dated 1942;

    His Spange to the Iron Cross on original ribbon;

    Award document to Oberleutnant Hans Bredder for the Auxillary Cruiser Badge issued on board on 13 December 1941 The signing Officer Kapitan Lieutnant Leiter has noted the Schiff 45 (Ship 45) in the signature block. Schiff 45 was the kriegsmarine number for the KOMET; and

    His Auxillary Cruiser Award Badge, Unamed Zinc two piece badge with traces of the gold wash remaining.
