WW1 TURKISH STAR ENAMELLED TYPE BY BB&CO
All German soldiers who fought with the Turkish Army were entitled to the Turkish star award. They came in two types a painted background version and a enameled version. Some of the enameled versions were made in Germany, all of the painted versions don't have a makers mark on them leading me to presume they were Turkish made and of poorer quality.
This star is an enamel type with the German makers mark to the back of B.B &Co. Enamel is in excellent condition and it would be hard to find a better example.
