Very rarely does a cased 1870 German Iron Cross come onto the market and this one is a must for the serious Iron Cross collector. This example consists of a First Class 1870 Iron Cross with 800 silver marks to the pin showing hardly any use. It comes in its original case with the sellers name of Louis Ernst & Sohn in Leipzig embossed into the inside of the lid. To top it off there is also the silver 25 year commemorative pin attached to the inside of the lid.
